Xbox Two release date news update: Microsoft to provide solid details about the new console at E3?

Microsoft's next generation gaming console has been a subject of numerous speculations all over the internet for a few months now. According to reports, Xbox Two or Xbox Scorpio will soon be revealed by the American software giant.

It has just been three years since the current Xbox One was released and if rumors prove to be true, it will not take long before players will experience a new and advanced gaming console.

Despite Microsoft's silence with regard to these reports, rumors about its development and release have continued to become more rampant. The company has yet to provide single solid information about the device; however, it's interesting that fans are already looking forward to its release.

According to a report by Alphr, Xbox Two or Xbox Scorpio will look almost exactly the same as Xbox One; however, the specs under the hood will be revamped. The publication suggested that if Microsoft will decide to release a new generation of gaming console, it should be called Xbox Scorpio and not Xbox Two.

Meanwhile, previous reports also suggest that Microsoft is planning to release an upgraded version of the current Xbox console. It is said to be called as Xbox Slim; however, the company said that if they have to make another console, they will certainly go for a full upgrade and not just an upgraded version of the current device.

Many fans are also hoping that Microsoft will provide concrete details with regard to their upcoming developments at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016, which is scheduled to start on June 14 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Fans and tech observers believe that the recent drop in price of Xbox One is a good indication that something new is set to arrive. According to PCMag, At the end of May, Xbox One consoles are being sold at $299; however, it only lasted for a short period of time.
