Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is making a lot of buzz in the tech world these days. The upcoming handset is said to come out with advanced specs and features, which could give Samsung's latest offering, Galaxy Note 7, a tough challenge in the market. According to the latest reports, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 could come out with 6GB RAM and will run on Google's latest operating system, Android Nougat.

Apart from its impressive hardware under the hood, the device is also said to arrive with state of art exterior design. There are reports suggesting that the upcoming smartphone of the privately owned Chinese electronics company will carry a dual-curved-edge display similar to Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.

According to a report by Phone Radar, the new Xiaomi Mi Note 2 may run on a Snapdragon 820 processor from Qualcomm, which has a speed of 2.15 GHz. Previous rumors suggested that the device could carry Qualcomm's latest chipset, the Snapdragon 821. However, the company has yet to confirm the reports.

The powerful processor is said to be paired with a whopping 6 GB of RAM and a 64 GB internal storage capacity. Rumor has it that the company may release a 128 GB variant of the device. Although Xiaomi has yet to provide the official details of its rumored smartphone, there are speculations online suggesting that the handset will carry a 5.5-inch screen with 2K display capabilities.

Meanwhile, according to The Bitbag, the device might be unveiled at the upcoming IFA 2016. According to the report, Xiaomi might also reveal the release date of the smartphone at the event.

There are rumors suggesting that the company will finally break into the U.S. market with the release of Xiaomi Mi Note 2.
