'American Horror Story: Freak Show' Plot Spoilers: Cast Change Means Elsa Leaving?
There are only three episodes remaining in the fourth season of the "American Horror Story: Freak Show," and it could very well see several deaths and disappearances.
In the next episode titled "Magical Thinking," which airs on Jan. 7 when the show returns after a mid-season break, Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange) could die or depart temporarily.
Elsa's plans to become a major star in Hollywood has been the root cause of many deaths in the show. Stanley (Denis O'Hare) took advantage of this, feeding her with lies so that he could sell the bodies of the dead freaks to the museum.
However, in the upcoming episode Elsa will learn of Stanley's lies from Desiree (Angela Bassett). But Elsa still may have a happy ending as the previous episode revealed that somewhere down the line she will indeed become a major star.
In a promo for the upcoming episodes, the new owner of the freak show, Chester (played by Neil Patrick Harris), will arrive and become romantically involved with the conjoined twins Bette and Dot (Sarah Paulson). He will also talk them into working with him in his magic show where he saws a person in half. But his ventriloquist dummy seems to have other plans as it transforms into a person (Jamie Brewer).
Several online sources said the dummy could turn out to be the next murderer on the show and could even be behind the live person that Chester ended up sawing in half during his magic show.
The murderous streak of Dandy Mott (Finn Wittrock) will also be given focus in the upcoming episodes. Viewers will finally be able to learn whether his money allows him to get away with everything.
Jimmy (Evan Peters), who was last seen in jail, will also feature in the upcoming episode. It seems that his father Dell (Michael Chiklis) will end up plotting to help his son escape.
