It looks like Vincent and Cat's quest for normalcy in their relationship won't even be within their reach as spoilers for the upcoming episode of "Beauty and the Beast" season 4 seem to show that someone will be deceiving someone.

The trailer for the upcoming seventh episode titled "Point of No Return" teases that Cat (Kristin Kreuk) might be deceiving her husband Vincent (Jay Ryan). The promo teaser shows them arguing over the murder that occurred in episode 6.

In another scene, Cat could be seen confiding in her friend and boss Tess Vargas (Nina Lisandrello) and telling the latter that she feels Vincent always rejects her help. Tess goes on to suggest she try another way. The next scene shows the couple meeting in a secret location, with a task force nearby.

Given that Vincent is in hiding, he would take this to mean a set-up. The trailer shows him saying, "I don't believe you'll do this. I don't believe you'll do this to us" as he quickly runs away from Cat.

Fans would have to tune in to this Thursday's episode to find out if Cat knew anything about the appearance of the task force who took after Vincent in an effort to seize him or if she was blindsided, too.

On the other hand, what looked like Cat deceiving Vincent could actually be a ruse to make the authorities think that she is on their side. With Vincent in hiding and being pursued, Cat will have more time to dig for information about the real nemesis. At any rate, fans would hate seeing Cat and Vincent broken up after everything they've been through and with season 4 being the series' swan song.

The titles of upcoming episodes, "Love Is a Battlefield" and "The Getaway" could be indicative of something.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Zap2it, Kreuk opened up concerning the reaction of the show's avid fans to the news that the series is ending.

"I think everyone's pretty disappointed because they've invested so much in the show. That being said, I think most people understand why, and I think it's going to be a good season for them," she said.

"I hope the people who have struggled with the ups and downs of the main characters' relationship will feel very satisfied by the end."

"Beauty and the Beast" season 4 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on The CW network.
