In 2005, "Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth" was launched to showcase Lovecraft's work, but it did not gather as much sales as expected.
"Call of Cthulhu" is psychological, horror game that is recognized for its complex features. The game trailer shows Mr. Edward Pierce, a private detective, who arrives in the Darkwater Island in Boston to seek answers to the mysterious death of a well-known artist and his family.
Pierce has a natural intuition on things, but his natural skill may not be enough to solve the mystery. Eventually, he will be dealing not just with his mission, but against his sanity as well. He will arrive to a point where he will doubt his capability.
As for the mysterious Darkwater Island, Pierce will discover some weird creatures lurking around the area, but this has to be found out if the creatures are only figures of his imagination or a reality. The island also has hunting corpses and a faction of hooded creatures that seems to be reciting a chant.
As eerie as it looks, "Call of Cthulhu" just made everyone wait in vain for its launch. The release date has not been announced yet, bur gamers are expecting it to be this year.
