Good news awaits "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" fans as the new downloadable content (DLC) is nearing its release. Entitled "Descent," the upcoming DLC looks like it is packed with goodies for everyone.

According to reports, the expansion pack should be available this July 12 for PlayStation 4 users, while Xbox One and PC users may wait for the following month for its release.

Based on the latest updates, one of the more familiar ones is that fans are going to get a remake of Raid, which is a multiplayer map.

Raid came from "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" and is set in a hillside mansion in Hollywood. It is a great map as there are lots of areas for closed-quarter battles, as well as space for long-range marksmen to get their shots in.

However, Raid will be renamed Empire in the new expansion pack, and its recently released preview gives fans an idea of what the map would look like. See the preview below:

The video gives a detailed look on how the map pans out, and the official description of the map reads: "Empire is set in the heart of an authentic Roman villa recreated by a modern-day eccentric billionaire. Relive the glory days in a fresh environment enhanced by the Black Ops 3 chained movement system."

Aside from Empire, there are other multiplayers maps that will come along with the new DLC as well, and they are called Berserk, Cryogen, and Rumble.

Descent will also feature a new Zombies experience for players. Reports say that the new Zombies map will take players to Stalingrad, aka Gorod Krovi. The Zombies map will include previous characters from the first two, but in a new setting that is described to be an "alternate, war-torn Stalingrad riddled with Element 115."

These are only some of the offerings of the downloadable content, and the price for the DLC is set at $15 for those without "Black Ops 3 Season Pass." For those who have one, which is priced at $50, the Descent DLC comes free of charge.
