'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' release date news: New characters, multiplayer mode revealed; Open beta announced
Before "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be released later this year, publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment will conduct an open beta.
No specific details have been revealed, but GameSpot reports that the beta will allow players will give an early look at the new and immense hub area Conton City.
As revealed in the past, this new hub in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be seven times larger than the one featured in the first game.

The "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" roster also got bigger with the addition of Majin Vegeta. The classic character is as strong as Vegeta, but he uses his power for evil as he is controlled by the wizard Babidi.
Of course, Majin Vegeta is not the only one to look forward to in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" as the evil Goku Black from "Dragon Ball Super" will also be part of the roster, at least for players who pre-order the game.
Last but not the least, Bandai revealed the new Expert Mission multiplayer mode in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." There, up to six players can team up to take on NPC (non-player character) bosses.
