GoPro Hero5 specs rumors: The 'most connected and convenient' GoPro will have improved connectivity features
The GoPro Hero5 will be considered the "most connected and convenient" action camera that the camera manufacturing leader GoPro will ever produce.
These are the inviting and enthusiastic words of the company CEO Nicholas Woodman, which could also be the reason why camera enthusiasts and camerawork professionals keep themselves posted on the latest developments and discussions with regard to the filming device. Major enhancements relative to its predecessor will be expected of the upcoming GoPro Hero5 which will be focusing on the versatility and portability of the camera. These upgrades will include enhancement of the gadget's connectivity particularly to mobile phones and the Cloud.
The GoPro Hero5 will be projected to have better capacities and compatibility of connecting it with devices of other categories. There are theories predicting that the new GoPro Hero will even have a Bluetooth 4.0 connection functionality, apart from the wi-fi chip, for purposes of allowing for very fast wireless transfers.
Highlighting simplicity and manageability of the GoPro Hero5, it will probably come with more minimal parts and fewer buttons yet without jeopardizing the results of the camera shots.
Another matter which remains unclear and unanswered among the many other speculations is that the GoPro Hero5 will be switching to a different processor. This will entail that instead of operating on its usual Ambarella processors, the Hero5 will be arriving with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. In the event that this proves to be true, then the Snapdragon processor would be able to provide the Hero5 users the capabilities to capture and at the same time stream 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second (fps).
It should be noted though that these alleged specs of the new Hero5 are mere speculations. GoPro executives have been quite economic with words when it comes to the Hero5. Neither have the companies they are rumored to be partnering with and have worked with, Qualcomm and Ambarella, are releasing any official comments about the state of progress of the new action camera.
For now, consumers can only speculate about the possible schedule of the launch of GoPro Hero5, which many hope to be just round the corner and at hand in the near future.
