'Gravity Rush 2' new trailer, release date news: 'Gravity Cat' earns admiration from gamers
The Japanese version of "Gravity Rush 2" stars an adorable kitten as a way to promote the game, causing the fans to be hooked on the game even more.
Titled "Gravity Cat," the video was posted on the YouTube channel of PlayStation Japan. The video shows two sisters making their way to contain what the naughty-but-cute, gravity-defying feline creates in the most entertaining way. The Japanese title of the game is called "Gravity Daze."
According to Attack of the Fanboy, this is not the first time "Gravity Cat" appeared in the eyes of the gamers. It was just two weeks ago when Sony shared a video called "Gravity Rush: The Animation – Overture," which reveals how the initial title links to the sequel, aside from making the fans anticipate the excitement of experiencing the anime version of the franchise.
However, as observed by The Verge, the fun activity of dealing with the cat can also bring frustration at times when the feline creature cannot be controlled as often as the players want. There are times when the cat would get a live cockroach straight from the garbage can or even provide leg-warming activities.
The publication added that "Gravity Rush 2" is the "first great game of 2017," and this year's "first great trailer."
The game has been commended by several gamers due to its impressive features. In a review by GameSpot, the game has exceeded their expectations since it filled gaps without stopping to tell the story. Similar to the first title, players can spend more hours searching for characters and items as they go into the storyline. However, when Nevi appears, Kat suddenly is transformed into an action star.
"Gravity Rush 2" is set to come out on Jan. 20 for PlayStation 4 (PS4). Check out the video below and see how the mischievous cat can turn the players' world upside down.
