'How to Get Away with Murder' season 3 spoilers, plot news: First photos released; filming underway
Fans of ABC's hit series "How to Get Away with Murder" will be glad to find out that the show's production has officially started filming for the next installment.
After some waiting time, the first photos from the set of "How to Get Away with Murder" season 7 have finally come out. The teaser photos were shared by no less than "HTGAWM" cast members as well as executive producer Pete Nowalk.
For one, Nowalk's photo showed a scene from an episode being filmed and gave a glimpse of some of the cast members who will be returning to reprise their roles: Liza Weil (Bonnie), Karla Souza (Laurel), Matt McGorry (Asher), and Jack Falahee (Connor). It also included two new faces as guest stars for the season, one of whom is a boy and the other a woman.
Nowalk posted the image on his Instagram account, indicating the image was from the first day of shooting for season 3, which was Monday, July 11.
Another image from the set also surfaced on Facebook on Monday, this time shared by the show's lead actress, Viola Davis herself. The photo shows Davis (Annalise Keating) taking a group shot with her in the center and behind her are most of the "Keating crew" stars playing Keating's students.
This snapshot showing eager faces will surely give fans the assurance that they are one step closer to seeing the next offering of the popular legal drama series.
"How to Get Away with Murder season 3" will hopefully enlarge upon the developments which took place during the finale of season 2. The season ender revealed a hook-up between Asher and Michaela (Aja Naomi King), something which seemed quite unexpected. Will this develop into something more permanent and lasting?
Another point of interest which avid viewers may want to follow is Connor's and Oliver's (Conrad Ricamora) move to the sunny climes of California, ostensibly to stay out of the tumult that existed around the lives of the Keating crew and most especially of Keating herself.
Most of all, after Charlie Weber's (Frank) involvement in season 3 was confirmed, the audience would want to know what happened to him and what his play will be in the coming season.
All these and more will be revealed when "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 premieres on Sept. 22 on ABC.
