Jailbreak iOS 9.3.2 news, update: Pangu could release jailbreak tool within the week
Following the recent release of iOS 9.3.2 and the beta 4 version of iOS 9.3.3, reports now indicate that Pangu, the Chinese jailbreak developer team, could finally be getting ready to drop a jailbreak version of the 9.3.2 update and that it may do so in a matter of days.
While offering a tool for jailbreaking iOS 9.3 would seem like a worthwhile move, given that the latest public update provided numerous fixes and improvements for iOS, there are also reports that Pangu could be working on iOS 10 instead of wasting time trying to jailbreak the current iOS 9.3.2.
News that iOS 10 has already fallen to jailbreakers has given the jailbreaking community reason to celebrate in the last few days. However, many are still waiting to hear about a jailbreak tool for iOS 9.3.
At the recent Mobile Security Conference (MOSEC) 2016 event in Shanghai, which was co-hosted by the Pangu jailbreaking team, rumors spread that such a tool is coming soon. While the focus of the event was mostly on iOS 10, which is due out later this year, Superphen's Tech Blog reported that a member of the Pangu team dropped a major detail about a possible jailbreak tool for iOS 9.3.2.
According to the site, the Pangu team member answered a question from someone in the audience about the possibility of a jailbreak tool for iOS 9.3.2 being developed. The person from Pangu allegedly responded that the tool will be released and that it could drop within the week.
According to Forbes, there is quite a short time frame for such a release. iOS 9.3.3 is already in its fourth beta version and could be released to the public very soon. If Pangu is, in fact, working on a jailbreak tool for iOS 9.3.2, it would be gearing up to release it before iOS 9.3.3 drops.
Meanwhile, Neurogadget warned that Pangu could already be focusing on iOS 10 and looking for vulnerabilities that would allow it to successfully jailbreak future betas of the upcoming iOS.
