It has been said that whenever game developer Valve is involved in a rumor regarding the release of one of its big titles, the gaming industry listens.

Proof of it is that the talks on whether "Half-Life 3" will ever release and when "Left 4 Dead 3" will be available to the public are constantly picked up by gaming websites.

Recently, as reported by Yibada, talks have been circulating that the company is preparing for a 2017 release of "Left 4 Dead 3" while "Half-Life 3" might finally come out by 2018.

Initially, it was thought that Valve would make waves during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 in California in mid-June. However, as the company did not reveal anything to the public, fans will have to make do with the recent reports and rumors.

"Left 4 Dead 2" was released back in 2009, so people are now waiting to see what new development this third installment has. According to MNR Daily, the game is actually being made at the moment. The report stated that "Left 4 Dead 3" is even taking the driver's seat at the moment, which has caused the possible delay for "Half-Life 3," pushing its release to 2018.

Meanwhile, fans who are waiting for "Left 4 Dead 3" on the latest console can spend their time playing "Left 4 Dead 2" on their Xbox Ones. According to reports, Microsoft allows their users to play the 2009 release thanks to the console's backward compatibility feature.

With that in mind, fans should be able to quickly relive the scary moments of the game while waiting for the sequel to arrive.

The "Left 4 Dead" franchise began back in 2008, and is a first-person shooter video game. It has gained a huge fan following, and even gaming critics have given rave reviews on both editions of the game, with IGN giving the first game and second game 9/10 each.
