Lenovo Phab 2 Plus update, specs news: 6.4-inch display, dual-rear camera, 3 GB of RAM
Lenovo Phab 2 Plus has finally landed in India and it's a promising phablet with impressive specs. Priced at Rs 14,999 (around $225), the device is only available on Amazon India and is a perfect option for entertainment and multimedia use.
According to reports, the new phablet sports a 6.4-inch IPS full HD display with 1,920 x 1,080 resolution. It also comes with a 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, one will find a 64-bit MediaTek MTK8783 octa-core processor with Mali T720 GPU. Its RAM count is 3 GB and its native storage is 32 GB, which can be expanded further up to 128 GB via microSD card slot.
The phablet also features a covetable camera despite its big screen. It comes with a dual camera setup at the rear with Augmented Reality (AR) mode, which is a fun and creative way of taking photos. In AR mode, users can choose from various creatures such as a dragon, kitten and many more. These animations will then be superimposed in the background. There's also another mode for the dual-rear camera function.
Moreover, the Phab 2 Plus camera specs include a 13-megapixel rear camera with F2.0 aperture, PDAF Light Supplement while the front is an 8-megapixel fixed-focus with F2.2 aperture and Light Supplement. It's also detailed to come with a fingerprint scanner and a 4,050 mAh battery which the company claims to provide 17 days of standby time and 23 hours of talk time. It also has a Dolby Atmos and Dollby Audio Capture 5.1 surround support. One can find the speakers at the bottom of the device.
Lenovo also incorporated the SIM version in India with a hybrid SIM slot. The moment users get the big smartphone, it is 4G VoLTE-ready. It's pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes in two colors, Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Grey. The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is now available for purchase.
