'Minecraft: Pocket Edition' update, news: Ender Dragon coming soon; magic wings Elytra included
"Minecraft: Pocket Edition" fans are in for a treat as the game will be getting another major update before the year ends.
According to reports, developer Mojang is going to release "The Ender Dragon" soon and it's going to come along with lots of new features including the famous The End and its iconic beast inhabitant, the Ender Dragon.
Gamers are looking forward to getting the update via their mobile device especially since they want to defeat the Ender Dragon. They basically consider this as a "tangible end-game" despite the fact that they can continue to play even after a victorious battle against the antagonist.
Android Community also detailed that the update will bringing more than just the dragon. One thing that fans can expect is the increase in the building structure height to 256 blocks. The game previously only offered up to 128 blocks when building structures. But with the new update, gamers can do more and can even build a super high tower.
Another feature that is coming along with the 1.0 Ender update is the new Elytra, which is a pair of wings that will let gamers fly their character up in the air. It has only been exclusive to the PC version but now It's said to be obtainable from an End ship in the Android version so fans should watch out for this.
It's also revealed that "Minecraft: Pocket Edition" will let players explore the outer islands of the End. They will also get the chance to see more of the mysterious End Cities where they are most likely going to cross paths the new Shulker mob. They can also pick up farm chorus plants and awesome purple blocks for building. Moreover, the "Ender Dragon" update will come with improvements and more gameplay features.
There is no specific release date yet for the new update but fans can expect to download it soon on Android devices. They can also have a first try with it by signing up for the beta program.
