'NCIS: New Orleans' season 3 episode 9 spoilers: Agent Pride and team accept custody of 9-year-old witness; Zoe McLellan breaks silence on her exit
Pride (Scott Bakula) and the NCIS team accept temporary custody of a 9-year-old witness in the upcoming episode of the hit CBS procedural spinoff "NCIS: New Orleans" season 3.
Titled "Music to my Ears," the show's next new episode will explore the softer side of the NCIS team. According to the official synopsis for episode 9, a petty officer and member of the prestigious United States Navy Band is murdered in her own home. While the investigation moves forward, Pride decides to take temporary custody of the victim's nephew who is also the only witness to the crime.
This week's episode of "NCIS: New Orleans" saw the team as they prevented the city from descending into an all-out biker gang war. Melody (Brianna Brown) popped out of nowhere and claimed LaSalle (Lucas Black) is the father of her baby, but there are speculations that it might be a mistake on Melody's part. After all, LaSalle works with DNA and he is a very cautious person.
He's still trying to keep the existence of his love child a secret, only telling Gregario (Vanessa Ferlito) about it. Gregario's secret also came out when she told Percy (Shalita Grant) about her ex who swindled money from FEMA.
On another note, many fans are still hoping to see the return of Zoe McLellan as Special Agent Merry Brody. Showrunners previously revealed that McLellan's exit was due to "creative decisions," but her character didn't have the chance to have a proper ending in the story. In an Instagram post last week, the actress expressed her gratitude for fans and asked for support for her new project.
"Hello Brody fans! A lot of you have been asking where Brody went. Well, here's the answer! I truly believe everything happens for a reason. Please follow my newest endeavor, #HeartScreams, to stay in touch with me," her post reads.
"NCIS: New Orleans" season 3 airs every Tuesday night at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
