"Once Upon A Time" season 6 will have a lot to do with unmasking more mysteries lurking in the past of the characters and this will be true with Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue).

Having been around for decades, the dashing pirate has a rich history, a mix of both good and evil. These things, although they are a thing of the past, will come crawling back in the new season.

Hook's past will be unraveled in "Once Upon A Time" season 6 as a way to delve into the relationships he has with particular folks in Storybrooke.

"The good thing about Hook is that he's a 300-year-old pirate, he's done a lot of things," O'Donoghue teased during the San Diego Comic-Con via PopSugar.

"What we see is gonna test his relationships with some people in Storybrooke because he's done so much that he's not proud of," he continued.

With that said, secrets about Hook will certainly be spilled in "Once Upon A Time" season 6 and it is speculated that they are huge enough to affect his relationship with Emma (Jennifer Morrison).

But it is not like Emma's hands are squeaky clean. According to "Once Upon A Time" season 6 spoilers, she also harbors a big secret, which will be out in the open in the new season.

However, if there are characters whose past will hit them hard in "Once Upon A Time" season 6, it will be Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming (Josh Dallas).

It has been revealed that some years ago, the Evil Queen (Lana Parilla) put in motion a plan against the couple. Whatever it is, it is set to come to fruition in the present time.

This reportedly has something to do with what Dallas revealed at Comic Con. He said that his character will find out that something he deemed true his whole life turns out to be a big lie. It is said it has something to do with Snow and a tragedy.

"Once Upon A Time" season 6 will premiere Sunday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
