OnePlus 3 will be launched on June 14 and it will reportedly be available in six different variants.

According to recent reports, Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus will be releasing its newest handset with six variants for consumers to choose from. The standard model of the mobile device is said to come with 4 GB RAM and will be offered in 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB variants. On the other hand, the other OnePlus 3 smartphone will allegedly be packed with a massive 6 GB RAM and will also come with 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB variants.

In terms of specs, the OnePlus 3 is said to be sporting a 5.5-inch AMOLED 1080 pixel screen, having a near field communication (NFC) support and a Snapdragon 820 CPU complemented with either 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM, containing a 3000mAh battery, and featuring a fingerprint scanner.

Meanwhile, OnePlus will no longer be offering its next flagship handset through an invite system as it did with its previous smartphones. Anyone who will visit the website of OnePlus will be able to buy a unit without being required to use a special code to make the purchase. The invitation system which OnePlus ran in the past was said to have been helpful in the management of inventory of the company's sales through control over codes.

According to Wired, OnePlus co-founder Carl Per shared that when they were starting the company, they still had barely any idea about the number of consumers who were potentially interested in getting their products. He further explained that as a young brand, growing sustainably is more important than growing fast yet with less caution.

"In year three it's really hard to keep asking people to understand that you're a young company and still trying to understand how to handle a supply chain," said Pei. Hence, he further went on to say that it is about time for the company to stop giving itself excuses and so the company ultimately abandoned the invite system for its phone launches starting with OnePlus 3 and onwards.

For OnePlus users who wish to get their hands on the all-new OnePlus 3, they may be able to as 1000 units will reportedly be for sale at $455 each on June 6, but only in China.
