'Pokemon GO' cheats update: How to find green Pokemons and night Pokemons, nab Pikachu as starter Pokemon
"Pokemon GO," the highly addictive new location-based augmented reality game from Niantic, has taken the world by storm.
The long-awaited game dropped last week and has since split smartphone users into two groups: those who are currently playing the game and those who are left to wonder what all the fuss is about.
"Pokemon GO" is the latest installment in the wildly popular Pokemon franchise. The international phenomenon was introduced more than two decades ago and has since been available on various platforms. There have been films, television series, games, comic books, and other media in which the fictional creatures have appeared.
"Pokemon GO" is the first "Pokemon" game for smartphones. It is currently available on iOS and Android but has only been rolled out for those in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand. The game lets players capture, train and battle virtual Pokemon who appear via their phone's camera. To find and collect the little monsters, players have to walk around in the real world and try to catch them.
According to Movie News Guide, which provided some tips, tricks and cheats for playing "Pokemon GO," players should remember that some Pokemons live in specific areas. Visiting green places such as fields, gardens and parks will definitely be worth it as there are creatures who like to hide behind leaves. Checking out other outdoor areas such as the beach or the riverside could pay off as well.
Aside from the environment in which they can be found, Pokemon also differ in the time of day or night they appear. According to N4BB, players who can stay up until the middle of the night or until dawn will be rewarded because some of the strong Pokemons come out at these times.
Meanwhile, IGN has shared how players can get Pikachu as their starter Pokemon. When players first create their character, Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur pop out. But if players ignore these Pokemon long enough, Pikachu will also appear on the map alongside the others. According to IGN, players have to refuse to catch the first three characters at least four times before Pikachu comes out. Players should then zoom in on Pikachu and catch him to make him their starter Pokemon.
