The "Pokémon GO" community has been very generous in sharing tips and information to help boost each other's Pokémon-catching experience. One tip is to throw a curveball when attempting to catch a Pokémon creature. The curveball tip is the most common technique used by "Pokémon GO" players but it's effectivity had yet to be proven until a recent study was released.

There is an increase in catch rate in using curveball over straight throws, according to a study made by The Silph Road. A successful curveball throw actually plays a big role in enhancing a Pokémon trainer's catch rate.

The study made clear that curveballs increase catch rate but there is no actual percentage yet of by how much it increases the possibility of capturing a Pokémon.

There is also an app that would help trainers in finding rare Pokémon. PokéFind or the Go Tools App, as it is listed on the PlayStore, is a crowd-sourced "Pokémon GO" map. The app helps players locate the rare Pokémon characters.

The concept behind the PokéFind app is based on the map that offers players sightings of the rare Pokémon scattered in the area. Another helpful feature of the app is that it even lets players know how long will that particular Pokémon creature stay in that location.

"Pokémon GO" is one of the most widely played mobile games in the world and having 50 million players accessing its servers, the game is bound to have some bugs and glitches.

One of the most common problems occurs when a player redeems the gifts from a PokéStop and is greeted with a "try again later" message instead. One workaround this issue is to tap the Shop icon, then tap on any item. When a message asking for payment details pops out, hit cancel. The theory behind it is that the simple trick allows "Pokémon GO" to establish a secure connection to its servers for the transaction, and in effect refreshes one's PokéStop and Gym connections.
