"Star Wars: Battlefront" continues to explore the huge universe of the original "Star Wars" saga. The upcoming DLC pack for the hit first-person shooter video game called the "Death Star" is expected to bring in more familiar objects, places, and characters that long-time "Star Wars" fans will surely recognize. According to the latest rumors, the upcoming DLC will feature the classic "Star Wars" characters in the game.

Game N Guide reported that Han Solo's most trusted ally, Chewbacca, will make a very special debut in the "Death Star." Chewbacca, or Chewie, is a legendary space warrior from the Wookie race and has been featured in several films and media adaptation of the "Star Wars" mythos. As Han Solo is already in "Star Wars: Battlefront," the fans believe that it is high time for Electronic Arts to include Chewbacca in the game through the upcoming DLC.

Moreover, the online publication also reported R2-D2 to appear in the video game via "Death Star." The report first broke after the Gamescom 2016 event held in Cologne, Germany. Like Chewbacca, it is expected that R2-D2 will finally become a playable character in the game but only in a new game mode in "Battlefront." The particular game mode for R2-D2 is called the Battle Station mode, where player has three different phases to go through.

The villainous lizard humanoid from "Star Wars: Episode 5," Bossk, is also expected to be a new playable character in the "Death Star" DLC.

Meanwhile, Movie News Guide reported that "Star Wars: Battlefront" will finally show the fans what they have been wanting to see in the cinematics of the game. It is rumored that the epic Jedi battle between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader will finally be featured through the "Death Star" DLC. The known spacecraft of Darth Vader and Luke will also be shown in the upcoming DLC, namely the TIE Advanced X1 fighter and Red 5 X-Wing spacecraft.
