'The 100' season 4 spoilers, plot news: New characters to be introduced; Bellamy to die by Octavia's hands?

Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) is said to be treading darker paths in the upcoming season 4 of "The 100." Earlier rumors also pointed to some romance growing between her and Bellamy (Bob Morley), despite that her last love interest, Lincoln, only just died toward the end of last season.

The latest speculation, however, puts Bellamy's future right smack into the hands of none other than Octavia. Though nothing official has been announced, avid followers of the series are now predicting that Bellamy may die by Octavia's hands.

Another death may seem too much at this point given that so many have already been killed off in the series, but at least, this may be a more logical turn of events to expect from Octavia rather than her falling for Bellamy.

She blamed Bellamy for Lincoln's (Ricky Whittle) death by his siding with Pike (Michael Beach). It would not be difficult to imagine Octavia taking Bellamy out of the picture, when the audience has already seen her quite capable of killing. It can be recalled that she had taken Pike's life without remorse at all, not even a slight pause.

Lincoln had been a significant presence in Octavia's life, and Pike had partly been responsible for his death. However, with nothing confirmed about this theory, the reality remains to be seen when "The 100" season 4 premieres sometime next year.

In the meantime, a couple of characters who will play parts as members of the Grounders have been reported as joining in the next installment of the show: Hugo and Kenza. Probably, it is just as well, since "The 100" has proven it is not at all shy nor reluctant to keep from killing off characters on the show, fan favorite or not. Too many have been killed off that it is about time the ranks were filled up once more.

Not much is known about the characters, but Hugo will be in his early twenties and someone with a potential for becoming a leader. A strong and imposing figure he may seem, but he will have a change of heart and will keep away from displays of brutality having had enough of that during his stint with ALIE. Kenza will be younger and will fight using prayers, after she has rested her sword for good.
