'The Bold and the Beautiful' Spoilers, Plot News for Episodes May 4 to 8: Carter Tells Ridge Maya is Transgender

Last week on "The Bold and The Beautiful," Nicole begged Maya not to tell Rick that she's a transgender as she could lose everything she worked hard for.

Maya said she was proud of her choices and that her only misgiving was that she waited too long to tell Rick the truth. She told Nicole to tell Rick why she could not bear children.

Rick chose Maya's engagement ring. Brooke arrived and Rick told her he was proposing to Maya. Brooke warned him not be rash, but Rick insisted he knew everything about Maya and he was convinced she was the one for him. Brooke gave him her support.

Inside Forresters Creations, Eric asked Ridge how the company was going. Rick said morale was low and people were scared of being laid off. Ridge said Rick was a different person when Eric was not around and that he couldn't take Rick being CEO any longer.

Brooke arrived and defended Rick. Ridge then resigned. Brooke and Eric tried to convince Ridge not to leave.

Rick and Maya had a heart-to-heart discussion about their relationship. He then asked Maya to make a decision.

Friday, May 8—Wyatt's wooing of Nicole yields success in a surprising way. Rick tells Ridge about the role Maya will be playing in the company and his life.
