The livestream event of "The Division: The Last Stand" has just concluded and Ubisoft has announced specific details about the downloadable content (DLC). Here is what is known so far.

"The Division: The Last Stand" is detailed in the official website of "The Division." The gameplay involves several players teaming up to establish a group of eight. Then, they will be matched by another team of eight, with a mission to defend the data caching and keep critical details of their mission.

With that, only four players from the team will be matched up, the rest will have to go through the matchmaking system. The system determines whose player will be paired with another, depending on their performance.

"The Last Stand" expansion concludes when one of the groups has collected a considerable amount of significant data that both groups are fighting for. It is set in a Dark Zone, but new Rogue Agents are present to fight against. However, the artificial intelligence (AI) agents that the players control are not the only enemies to be encountered. There are computer-controlled enemies waiting for the perfect time to attack the players. Once they are killed, players will get certain rewards such as currency and technological items to help them unlock more data.

"Player versus Player combat in The Division has always been a special kind of beast, taking place in the dangerous and infamous Dark Zone where PvE and PvP gameplay mix. Gameplay in the Dark Zone has always been open-ended and without any clear objectives, as it was designed to be. Love it or hate it — if you want to fight other players, that's where you have to go," wrote Ubisoft on the game official website.

"The Division: The Last Stand" is available in the game's season pass, or it can be purchased as a standalone title. The game is available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PC.
