Electronic Arts' (EA) latest installment to its popular life-simulation game, "The Sims 4," received a downloadable content (DLC) expansion last November that introduces Sims players to a new city called Myshuno, and the apartment-style of living that is a first for the game.

"The Sims 4: City Living" allows Sims to expand their social network as they meet new friends and people in the big city.

Along with this, some players report that their Sims get invitations to certain events, and once they agree to attend, their Sim gets dressed up and goes to the event by walking toward an elevator or toward the side of a lot and disappear.

Once the Sim is gone to attend the event, players can't see what actually happens there, because the game camera doesn't follow the Sim at this point. The Sim will automatically return once the event is finished.

So where do Sims go once they go into these rabbit holes? The feature was already introduced in "The Sims 3," but same with the current gameplay, players cannot also see what happens once their Sim attends the event.

According to a report from iDigitalTimes, a Sim gets invited to at least three different events or places: the circus, the opera house, an underground concert, or to an abandoned warehouse in a fashion district.

The type of event depends on the Sim's network of friends and social interests. An invitation is done through a phone call that informs the specific time of the event, and when it is time for it to start, another call is received wherein the player now has the option to let the Sim attend or not.

Once the player allows the Sim to attend, the Sim automatically changes its outfit to fit whatever event it was invited to. For a circus event, the Sim goes with a casual outfit. To see the opera, a Sim changes into something formal, and in concerts, the Sim dresses up in a party outfit.
