Walking Dead Season 5 Air Date, Plot Spoilers: Hellish Scenes Await Viewers When AMC Series Returns
The hit AMC show "The Walking Dead" is currently on hiatus in the middle of its fifth season. It is due to return to its 9 p.m. slot every Sunday starting on Feb. 8, bringing along more hellish scenes partly depicted during a recent promo that aired.
The promo and other spoilers have also indicated that subsequent episodes in the season will examine the issues after the death of Beth Green (Emily Kinney) which took place in the last episode.
Beth's death left many in the group shocked and depressed. As viewers expected, Beth's sister Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan) and Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) were hardest hit. Sneak peeks and trailers for the upcoming episodes show Maggie crying along with Noah (Tyler James Williams). Other spoilers point towards more heartbreaking scenes with Maggie even attempting suicide as she did in the books that the series is based on.
The website "The Spoiling Dead" hints that Tyreese (Chad Coleman) will be the next character to die on the show. His death, the online source said, could take place either in episode 9 or 10. If it happens, his death would be a major blow to the characters in the series as he is an important part of the group. Right now it appears that he will meet his end before they get to the Safe-Zone in Alexandria, Virginia. Other sources say his death is definite as Coleman has not been seen at the filming location after Episodes 9/10.
With the show having no problem killing off several characters every season, online sources are hinting that none is safe including fan favorite Daryl Dixon.
However, it seems the group will make it to the Safe Zone somewhere around Episode 11. At this point, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) is expected to shave his beard and cut his hair in an attempt to look more civilized and fit in with the other members of the group.
