"Watch Dogs 2" will come with two online multiplayer modes, developer Ubisoft announced. One of which comes straight from the original game.

The first one is rather familiar—"Hacking Invasion," which was featured in "Watch Dogs." Here, players will deal with a certain target opponent and will be tasked to download a specific amount of data undetected.

This "Watch Dogs 2" multiplayer mode, like the first one, also allows co-op missions, where players can team up and hit the streets of San Francisco.

The new multiplayer mode is the "Bounty Hunter" mode, where players can track other hackers who are attracting the attention of the police. Players can either be the hunter or the hunted.

With regards to bounties, they can be triggered by either initiating a chaos so huge that it can affect other players, who can in turn join in and help the cops chase players. Starting the hunt manually is also possible.

For the former, "Watch Dogs 2" players are allowed to use any means available to seize their target. For the latter, it is a matter of breaking the hunter's line of sight.

If successful, the player will earn new followers, which will tremendously help in leveling up, powering hacking abilities and gaining access to new missions.

"If you're feeling up to the challenge, you can even dig in and eliminate wave after wave of rival players for an increasingly better payoff, but be aware that dead hunters will just be replaced by new players, and escape is the only way to get the biggest rewards," Ubisoft teased on its blog.

Meanwhile, senior producer Dominic Guay has revealed on Twitter that a no-kill playthrough is possible in "Watch Dogs 2," which means that players can finish the game without having to put down anyone.

"It was important to us that players are free in the style they want to play. So play stealth, play non-lethal, play guns blazing, explosive and guns, or play full hacking. It's up to you to decide how you're going to play," Guay explained.

"Watch Dogs 2" will be released on Nov. 15.
