'Wayward Pines' season 2 spoilers, plot news: Threats of abbie attack loom

"Wayward Pines" season 2 episode 8, "Pass Judgment," will see Theo (Jason Patric) and Adam (Tim Griffin) going after the abbie leader who escaped after she had seen her team of abbies all killed mercilessly in the previous episode by Jason's (Tom Stevens) in a near-total massacre.

The pair will seek her out before she could possibly reach other abbies and perhaps give residents of Wayward Pines something to really worry about. Theo gets concerned about the possible repercussions if they do not catch up with Margaret, the abbie leader. He conjures up a picture of an abbie invasion in Wayward Pines. The vicious leader had also shown this side of herself when she attacked Megan (Hope Davis) in episode 7.

It is not known whether the two who set out after the abbie leader were successful with their mission, but a new trailer for "Wayward Pines" season 2, episode 8 teased several thrilling possibilities which fans of the show can expect in the coming episode.

The promo trailer showed a clip of Margaret walking on top of the roofs of houses at Wayward Pines while armed men try to get a shot at her. Theo believes that a warning should be posted for all the people at Wayward Pines so they will be forewarned of any possible attack by abbies.

Another scene in the video showed an increasing crowd of abbies surrounding Wayward Pines, and this feeds speculations that a big and bloody confrontation may be happening when the episode airs Wednesday, July 13.

Something else expected in the next part of the show is a look into Rebecca's (Nimrat Kaur) condition. Xander (Josh Helman) will express his concern about her situation, which is why he will be hounding her with questions.

Jason also will find out something about Kerry which may leave him shocked.
