WWE rumors : CM Punk may return to the ring

Being a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) fan these days is a great thing as the company is bringing back legends who shaped the business. These legends are now interacting with the new blood of the WWE and the spectators are certainly the winners in this whole endeavor.

With the return of Goldberg, there are many names being thrown around the industry making their possible returns to the squared circle. One is Kurt Angle, but a bigger name seems to be ready for a return this soon as talks are linking CM Punk to possibly making his way back to the WWE.

Old articles suggested that Punk could make his way back to the WWE if the business fits and everything falls into place. Even other WWE superstars have refused to close the door on Punk's possible return to the company, showing just how big of a deal he actually is.

Punk lost decisively in his MMA debut in the UFC and many believe that he is done in trying out that sport.

Coming back to the WWE is the next best thing for him as the connection between MMA and WWE has always been thrown around.

According to some talks, Conor McGregor, who is undoubtedly the UFC's brightest star, will make his way to the WWE wring in Wrestlemania 33, setting up what could be a great opportunity for Punk to jump right back into the fold.

It remains to be seen if there is any truth to this or if Punk will really consider making his way back to the company after so much drama between him and WWE owner Vince McMahon.

If the two can come up with terms and agree on something, then Punk should have no trouble coming back to the delight of the crowd.
