Acer Swift 7 release date, specs, news: World's thinnest laptop starts at $1,099.99
Acer has finally made the new Swift 7, deemed the world's thinnest notebook, available for purchase in the U.S.
It's no surprise that the device is selling like hotcakes because of its ultra-thin proportions that do not compromise its functionality. This means that even with its design, consumers should not be deceived because it's packed with impressive specs and features.
For its dimensions, the Acer Swift 7 is 9.9 millimeters thin and weighs 2.48 pounds. It sports a sleek matte black aluminum exterior matched with a gold interior, effortlessly giving it a premium look.
According to reports, the first available Swift 7 model is equipped with a Core i5-7Y54 Kaby Lake processor. It works alongside 8 GB of RAM with a 256 GB SSD. It also comes with a full HD 13.3-inch display with IPS technology and Corning Gorilla Glass to protect it from drops, scratches and the like.
