'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 4 spoilers news: Classic comic book Inhumans to appear in 'AoS'
The upcoming fourth season of Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will be featuring the classic comic book's Inhumans. The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is supposed to introduce the popular Inhuman characters in their own movie, "The Inhumans," although there were some changes made in the scheduled release of films. Thus, the Inhumans will make their first appearance in the hit TV series.
As reported by Blastr, the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." panel at the San Diego Comic-Con 2016 held last week presented the first official trailer of the fourth season. Moreover, Marvel Studios took the opportunity to announce the arrival of the famous Marvel characters in the show. The "AoS" executive producers Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen revealed that the classic Inhuman characters will make their debut in Season 4. Supposedly, they will debut in "The Inhumans" feature film originally slated for 2018 release. However, the delayed movie will give "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." the opportunity to introduce them first.
Specifically, Whedon said via Screen Rant that the TV series has quite a freedom to introduce the major comic book Inhumans as their unique race has been the main focus of Seasons 2 and 3. So far in the series, the world still sees the Inhuman race as a global threat and are being subjected to persecution. The characters such as Medusa, Karnak, and Black Bolt, the popular Inhumans leader, are likely to appear in Season 4.
Aside from the Inhumans, it is also expected "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4 will feature Ghost Rider. The Comic-Con trailer reveals Robbie Reyes, which will be the new Spirit of Vengeance. This version of Ghost Rider is different from the previous films of the same title that featured Johnny Blaze behind the firey cyclist. Ghost Rider will be played by Gabriel Luna, known for his role in "Matador."
Finally, Season 4 will also show a different "dark side" of Agent Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet), also known as Quake. To recall, the Season 3 finale shows Daisy going rogue as she is no longer working for S.H.I.E.L.D. Bennet teased that her character might be "abusing" her Inhuman powers to help herself and others, although that will cause unseen consequences. Her dark persona has yet to show, although the recent death of Lincoln Campbell/Sparkplug (Luke Mitchell) could be a precursor to Daisy unleashing her dark side.
