Air Jordan 12 'Gym Red' release date and specifications

The year 2016 can unofficially be called the "Year of the Air Jordan 12" as there have been a number of different colorways of the silhouette that have dropped this year.

Many have been able to purchase their own, like the Air Jordan 12 "French Blue," while there have been some that have been extremely difficult to track down, like the Air Jordan 12 "Wings."

Recently, the silhouette took center stage as the brand unveiled one of the most heralded colorways in the collection, the BREDS or more commonly known as the "Flu Game."

However, there seems to be no stopping the 12th signature shoe of Michael Jordan from taking over the feet of sneakerheads as this July, another colorway is on the way with the "Gym Red."

Looking eerily close to one of the most favorite colorways, the "Cherry 12s," the "Gym Red" still has enough to make it a great shoe on its own and the materials are also incredible in this pair.

As its photos show, the pair is of excellent premium leather upper, while the white accent is perfectly contrasted with pebbled leather.

The medial side also has that white accent and the mudguards also have that white color to maintain an excellent color block throughout the silhouette.

Looking at the back, there is a black pull tab with a white Jordan logo inside a red box, while the black label continues down before the white midsole with a red "23" label.

The sole is still predominantly white with a black Jordan logo near the forefoot, while the carbon fiber shank can be seen in the middle of the foot bed and the outsole.

Officially with the colorway of Gym Red/Black-White, the shoe retails for $190 and will be available by July 2. Look out for the biggest retailers for the pair when it drops.
