The most recent drivers of AMD, the Radeon 17.1.1, provide support for the anticipated "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard." The new drivers also include bug fixes for minor issues observed.

"Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition is AMD's advanced graphics software for enabling high-performance gaming and engaging VR experiences," AMD wrote on its website. "Create, capture, and share your remarkable moments. Effortlessly boost performance and efficiency. Experience Radeon Software with industry-leading user satisfaction, rigorously-tested stability, comprehensive certification, and more," the post continued.

Aside from the support for the anticipated "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard," the Radeon 17.1.1 drivers also fix the issues with the Radeon R9 38-run "Dishonored 2" in which the game hangs or crashes in the middle of gameplay. For those playing on Windows 7, the drivers also fixed the Radeon ReLive, which shows an irrelevant pop-up warning when running on basic themes.

The configurations for the AMD XConnectâ„¢ Technology have also been addressed to eradicate the hanging issues or getting a blue screen when the audio drivers begin to run. Also, Solidworksâ„¢ will not terminate anymore when AMD XConnectâ„¢ Technology configurations are used.

Other fixed issues listed are:

  • Some system configurations may experience a black screen after installing Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Editions 16.12.1 and later.
  • Display corruption or TDR may be experienced after applications wake up from a display timeout.
  • Paragonâ„¢ may experience flickering in Multi GPU with DirectX®11.
  • Radeon ReLive may crash or become unresponsive when toggling Multi GPU with Desktop Recording and/or Instant Replay enabled.

Meanwhile, there are issues still observed by players of "World of Warcraft" and "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive." Also, the CrossFire systems are said to hang when playing "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" and "Shadow Warrior 2."

The company stated that the titles with Borderless Fullscreen mode with FreeSync-enabled may observe some issues. Currently, AMD is still working to fix the issues.
