American Horror Story Season 4 Release Date, Cast Spoilers: Jessica Lange to Leave the Show
American Horror Story Season 4 has been officially announced to return this fall with an entirely new different theme called Freak Show.
For Evan Peters and Emma Roberts, who play Kyle Spencer and Madison Montgomery respectively, there will be another round of romantic relationship scenes when Season 4 premieres on October. The two are real-life sweethearts are both main casts of the show.
In an interview with the Entertainment Weekly, Ryan Murphy, creator of the show, revealed that the new season's setting will be in the 1950's. He confirmed that "It's a combination of two time periods, with the main one being the 1950s."
Murphy also revealed that Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Frances Conroy and Evan Peters will be appearing this season. He has reportedly asked other previous actors to appear again, such as Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott.
Murphy revealed that new faces will be joining them this season as well, which include Michael Chiklis and John Carroll Lynch and Wes Bentley.
Meanwhile, Jessica Lange will be joining this season as a German Expat who manages a show in the U.S. Rumor has it that Season 4 will be Lange's last. Lange has played a major role in the series but has reportedly decided that this season will end her stint in the show. Murphy in an interview said that "Jessica Lange has already started practicing her German accent" so fans should expect to see her in a rather interesting role.
American Horror Story will premiere on Wednesday, October 8 at 10 p.m. EDT on FX.
