Anonymous Hacking Group Declares 'War' Against Islamic State
The Anonymous hacking group has reportedly declared "war" on the Islamic State terror group after the extremists claimed responsibility for the terror attack carried out in Paris, France recently.
The hacker group released a recent video suggesting it is "at war" with the Islamic State terror group.
"Make no mistake: Anonymous is at war with Daesh," hacker group announced over Twitter over the weekend, as well as sharing a video announcing that it is "at war" with the extremist group.
"We will not give up, we do not forgive," a member of the hacking group added in the video, saying "Expect us."
The hacker group's announcement comes after the Islamic State terror group claimed responsibility for carrying out a terror attack in Paris, France on Friday evening.
Since the attack that claimed 129 lives, social media has been abuzz as mourners call for supporters in all countries to "#PrayforParis".
Social media has also been abuzz after a list targeting certain U.S. cities began to circulate the internet. The list, created by the Islamic State, encourages sympathizers of the terror group to carry out "lone-wolf" attacks on certain U.S. cities, particularly those with large military personnel presences or military bases.
Shortly after the list began to circulate, media outlets noticed that the list had actually been created and distributed in March 2015.
In response to the recent Paris terror attack that killed 129, France dropped at least 50 bombs on Islamic State strongholds in Syria, targeting the terrorist hotbed of Raqqa.
