iPad Air 3 release date news: Upcoming Apple tablet launch may no longer happen?
The upcoming Apple iPad Air 3 certainly does not come short of rumors and speculations as fans and critics are still talking about its development and release date all over the internet. Previous reports suggested that the next model of the iPad Air series will come out in September 2016 or March next year. However, new reports have emerged saying that the device may never be released at all.
According to a report by Macworld UK, many fans might be left disappointed once the news about the cancellation of the series gets confirmed by the Cupertino-based company. The publication added that all reports about its development and release date could only provide false hopes to those fans who still believe that Apple will release the iPad Air 3.
The highly anticipated tablet was supposed to come out in October last year if the release pattern of the series is to be followed. When the company failed to announce its development in 2015, some fans and critics started to wonder if a new model will ever come out.
The speculations that Apple will stop the production of iPad Air has strengthened when the company announced the development of a new line called iPad Pro. The first model of the new tablet came out in March this year.
Following the failed release of iPad Air 3 in October 2016, rumors started to circulate that the device will finally be released alongside the iPhone SE early this year. However, the company decided to roll out another tablet, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
Despite the reports that Apple will no longer release a new iPad Air tablet, many fans are keeping it positive as they hope for the device to come out anytime soon.
As of the moment, fans will have to wait for the company to release an official statement with regard to the development and release date of iPad Air 3.
