iPad Pro 2 release date, specs rumors 2016: Second gen iPad Pro tablet to be launched in last quarter of 2016?

The rumored iPad Pro 2 has been a subject of numerous discussions all over the internet. According to the reports, the next generation iPad Pro tablet will most likely be launched in September along with other Apple products such as the new iPhone 7, MacBook Pro 2016 and the new Apple Watch 2. Although the company has continued to stay mum with regard to providing concrete details about the new tablet, recent leaked images of the device may have solidified its release this year.

The alleged images were said to have obtained by Apple Insider from a source who has access to an Apple supplier in China. The images also indicate that the Cupertino-based company is already planning to develop the next 12.9-inch iPad Pro device. What's interesting is that the leaked information also has a model number MH1C2CD/F, which is currently not assigned to any iPad products; however, it obviously has Apple's numbering convention.

Apple has yet to confirm the existence of the iPad Pro 2, much less its release date. Nonetheless, fans are pretty positive that Apple will soon reveal the highly anticipated tablet before the year ends.

Meanwhile, despite Apple's silence, fans and critics have already started sharing their own predictions with regard to the tablet's specs and features.

According to these reports, the device will come with a 12-megapixel primary camera with iSight technology. It will also carry a 5-MP selfie snapper with a Retina Flash. There are speculations suggesting that the tablet will most likely arrive with a 4K resolution support as well as the Live Photos technology.

According to Apple Insider, the company will start its iPad Pro 2 development in September, which means that by October or November, the device will be launched.

As of the moment, fans must wait for Apple to make an announcement before making any assumptions.
