'Ash vs Evil Dead' season 2 episode 4 spoilers: Ash haunts possessed car; Kelly, Ruby team up
The Delta has gone berserk and may have just given Ash (Bruce Campbell) one of the worst emotional dilemmas of his life. Will he be able to look past the evil crimes of his possessed car or is the Delta's days numbered?
In the next episode of "Ash vs Evil Dead," Ash will come to terms with the fact that his father Brock (Lee Majors), with whom he had just begun to bond with after decades of estrangement, is now dead. He was brutally ran over by his beloved Delta right before his eyes.
Unfortunately, whatever crucial secret the old man had meant to tell his son may have just died with him. Although knowing Ash, he may still manage to find other ways to uncover this life-altering secret that his old man was going on about. But first, he needs to find his car and stop it from taking any more lives.
"Ash vs Evil Dead" season 2 episode 4 is titled, "DUI," which is a clear reference to how the Delta is now driving under the influence of evil and barreling down the streets of Elk Grove like a fiery Knight Rider. Will Ash be able to regain control of the Delta before it claims the lives of his loved ones? Will Chet (Ted Raimi) tagging along prove to be an asset or yet another liability in Ash's seemingly never-ending battle against evil?
Meanwhile, Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) and Ruby (Lucy Lawless) seem to have to fight their own battle against Ruby's evil spawns, as shown in the episode preview. In it, Ruby has also revealed a significant detail about this season's big bad, Baal, which will be played by Joel Tobeck.
"He gets into people's psyches, turning the against each other," Ruby tells her new ally, Kelly.
Moreover, Pablo (Ray Santiago) will be dealing with a problem of his own when the Necronomicon begins haunting his mind once again; a condition that could potentially turn him against Ash and ultimately bring him in the path of the onrushing Delta.
The next episode of "Ash vs Evil Dead" airs on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 8 p.m. EDT on Starz.
