'Assassin's Creed Victory' Release Date PS4, Xbox One and PC News: Leaked Video Hints at November 2015 Launch

A video footage leaked last year indicated that Ubisoft will launch a new "Assassin's Creed: Victory" game this year. Soon after the leak surfaced, the company confirmed that the new game is indeed being developed. The latest edition in the franchise could be the only game Ubisoft will release this year.

The video revealed that the game will reportedly take place in the Victorian Era and would be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, sometime in November this year.

The seven-minute "Assassin's Creed: Victory" video footage leak showed that the game will run on the Anvil engine used by Ubisoft just like its other games such as "Assassin's Creed: Unity" which was released last year.

In the video, the main character is seen fighting with Templars as he runs through the streets of London and jumps into a train.

As soon as the leak surfaced on Kotaku, Ubisoft released a statement in which it expressed its disappointment. The company said it was "unfortunate that internal assets, not intended for public consumption, were leaked."

It admitted that the game is being developed by the company's studio in Quebec which has been working on it for several years now. Ubisoft said it planned to unveil the game at a future date.

The Ubisoft statement later sparked speculations that "Assassin's Creed: Victory" could make an appearance during E3 2015, an event scheduled in June this year which the company could use to officially announce the game.

Coming to what's new in "Assassin's Creed: Victory," the leaked footage showed a grappling hook featured in the game. Using it, the main character is able to quickly attach onto surfaces and thereby approach his targets irrespective of where they are located.
