Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom receives certification from the FCC following clearance from China's TENAA

Asus sure likes its choices when it comes to smartphones releases. Which is why the conglomerate has been releasing multiple variants of a single family release to cater to every possible demographics that it can reach out to. One of which is the Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom which might land in North America anytime soon.

Various media outlets online have been reporting that the iteration from the Asus ZenFone 3 line, which has the code, Z01HDA, has already received a stamp of approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) from the United States. This development comes in after the same smartphone was also certified by China's very own TENAA. Needless to say, these approvals are by no means a confirmation that Asus will be dropping the phone soon; instead, they only confirm that shall they decide to do so, the device is ready to finally hit the market without any legal problems. 

Specs' wise, the smartphone is said to be powered a Snapdragon 625 coupled with RAM options among 2GB, 3GB and even 4GB. Running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow the Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom also packs in a massive 4,850-milliampere-hour (mAh) battery that can provide longer day-to-day performance should the 4G LTE feature is used for hours. As for the memory, buyers have the luxury to choose among 16GB, 32GB and 64GB internal storage is also possible.

Coming with a 5.5-inch full high-definition, 1,920 x 1,080 resolution display, its camera features a dual rear camera that also includes at least one MP unit. Alongside it will also be two LED flashes. While an impressive 13 MP selfie snapper is outfitted at the top of its frontal face. The device's other notable features include a fingerprint sensor at the back of the smartphone and three capacitive buttons that are situated that bottom part of the touchscreen.

The Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom is rumored to come in an all-metal aesthetics, which seems to be the trend nowadays for smartphones as it exudes a sleeker and sturdier design. Three colors in black, gold and silver iterations will be available once the 7.99mm thick aforementioned device finally hits the store shelves.
