The highly-anticipated "Attack on Titan" game, "Escape from Certain Death" will be released in Japan on Mar. 30, 2017 in Japan, Koei Tecmo has announced.

The game will come in two versions. First is the standard physical or download release, which is priced at 5,800 yen while the Treasure Box edition will be at 12,800 yen.

The latter will be bundled with a copy of the "Attack on Titan: Escape from Certain Death" in addition to a visual book, soundtrack, two waterproof posters, six large tin badges and Mikasa and Levi 3DS theme with voices download code.

The first-print copies of the editions will also come with an Eren 3DS theme in addition to voices download code as well while first-print copies of Treasure Box will have an Erwin 3DS theme with and voice download code thrown in as well.

"Attack of Titan: Escape from Certain Death" follows the mission of a Survey Corps member inside an old castle, which he and his colleagues will have to escape from. The synopsis for the game is as follows:

"While investigating the outskirts of a certain old castle, the Survey Corps are caught in a Titan assault. The ground collapses amid the chaos, and the protagonist ends up falling into an underground part of the old castle. Just narrowly escaping death, the protagonist cannot return to the surface as their Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear has broken. The protagonist links up with a single "partner" and attempts to escape the castle underground shrouded in mystery, but...?"

There is no information yet if "Attack of Titan: Escape from Certain Death" will be released in the West although the fact that previous 3DS title made it to the region suggests that it is possible.

However, with no official word from Koei Tecmo, gamers outside Japan will just have to wait and hope for some good news.
