Various rumors have been circulating about the 87th chapter of the popular post-apocalyptic manga series "Attack on Titan." Though nothing is certain as of now, the next chapter is expected to be intense. Rumor has it that Eren Yaeger will be sent to prison; meanwhile, Grisha Yaeger will be executed.

The upcoming chapter will reportedly be titled "Borderline." The episode will reportedly highlight the established rule among the Marleyans which disallows them to go beyond the border, preventing them from exploring Paridis Island. In the southern part of the island is where a huge wall and a port are located. This is also where the Marleyans punish the Erudian traitors.

In "Borderline," anime enthusiasts expect the Smiling Titan's identity to be unveiled. It is speculated that Dina Fritz, the former wife of Grisha, is the Smiling Titan. To note, Dina is responsible for the death of Carla Yaeger, Dr. Yaeger's new wife.

Eren will also reportedly find himself in prison in "Attack on Titan" chapter 87. However, it is unknown how the lead character will end up in a prison cell once again. To recap, the first time he ended up in prison was when he seized the opportunity to use the Coordinate and seek revenge on his mother's murderer.

Aside from Eren, Grisha will not have the best time in chapter 87, as the Erudian soldiers intend to execute him along with other traitors. Reports say that the soldiers will inject him with a paralyzing venom and throw his immobilized body outside the wall, leaving the titans to finish the job.

Since the rumors have yet to be confirmed, anime enthusiasts should wait for "Borderline" to launch.

"Attack on Titan" chapter 87 titled "Borderline" is expected to premiere on Bessatsu Monthly Shonen on Wednesday, Nov. 9.
