Avengers 2: Age of Ultron Trailer Video: Hulkbuster-Equipped Iron Man Clashes With Hulk in Power Action Scene
Who is stronger, Iron Man or the Hulk?
To those itching to find out, Marvel Studios gave fans a clue with the showing of a new trailer for this year's most awaited superhero movie, "Avengers: Age of Ultron," during the MTV Movie Awards last Sunday.
Robert Downey Jr., who plays Iron Man in the movie, won the Generation Award in the show and was honored by Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, and Mark Ruffalo, who play Thor, Captain America, Black Widow and the Hulk, respectively.
In the new clip that was shown during the Awards night, Iron Man was seen for the first time wearing his new Hulkbuster armor as he battled an angry, mind-controlled Hulk in the streets, causing massive damages to buildings and vehicles.
"That girl is just messing with your mind. You're better than her, you're stronger than her. You're Bruce Banner," Tony Starks, aka Iron Man, shouted at Bruce Banner, aka The Hulk. The girl Iron Man was referring to was Scarlet Witch, played by Elizabeth Olsen, one of the newcomers in the movie franchise.
The latest trailer was shown three weeks before the movie hits theaters on May 1, further fueling the fans' excitement over the latest installment of the "Avengers" film franchise.
Cinemablend asked Ruffalo about the battle, which it had foreseen through a concept art released more than a year ago.
"It's a little bit like Cool Hand Luke that way... Like, you think you could beat me, and then I'll beat the crap out of you – and then I beat the crap out of him," Ruffalo said, referring to the brawl between Paul Newman, who played Luke, and George Kennedy, who played Dragline, in Stuart Rosenberg's 1967 Oscar-winning film "Cool Hand Luke."
Samuel L. Jackson and Jeremy Renner also return as Nick Fury and Hawkeye, respectively. Another newcomer is Aaron Taylor-Johnson who joins the cast as Quicksilver. The film is directed by Joss Whedon.
