A new game mode for "Battlefield 1" has just been announced by DICE. Titled as "Line of Sight," the new mode concentrates on Scout and Medic classes.

According to the official website of "Battlefield 1," the gameplay involves solely playing as Medic or Scout.

"Starting this week, you can try out a new Battlefield™ 1 Custom Game called Line of Sight — a take on Rush where Medic and Scout are the only classes available," wrote DICE on a post. "With double bullet damage the Scouts are more lethal than ever and as a natural counter to this, Medics will need to make optimal use of their arsenal to balance out the teams," the post continued.

To put it simply, players will have to either play as a Scout or as a Medic. DICE makes sure that a balanced gameplay is achieved as both teams have their own advantage. For instance, the Scout class is a lot deadlier as their double bullet can cause more damage. On the other hand, the Medic class has semi-automatic rifles, which has the ability to revive the damaged team members.

However, the announcement came with dismay as DICE also announced that Electronic Arts (EA), the franchise publisher, will concentrate on the title's sequel, "Star Wars: Battlefront."

DICE announced that "Line of Sight" will be released this week, though it did not announce the specific date. The upcoming mode is the second custom title for "Battlefield 1." The first one was "Fog of War," which came out just this month, GameSpot reported. The "Fog of War" gameplay involves an extra challenge to search for the enemies when a dense fog is seen on the map.

Aside from "Line of Sight," a multiplayer map is also announced to be coming this month. The map is called "Giant's Shadow" and will a part of the free update. Another expansion is set to arrive in March 2017, which is titled as "They Shall Not Pass."
