'Beauty and the Beast' season 4 spoilers news: Series taking a break; Upcoming episode will have Tess arresting Cat?
"Beauty and the Beast" season 4 will not be airing this Thursday, so fans would have to wait a while before they find out what happens after the gripping cliffhanger that was episode 9. Instead, a rerun from its earlier seasons would be shown in its timeslot.
The ninth episode titled "The Getaway" saw Cat (Kristine Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) hiding out in a cabin after a pesky reporter named Grace Rose (Melissa Tang) almost exposed Vincent during a secret meeting at Greydal. They went into hiding, but later on decided to call the reporter for an exclusive, since Cat thought the only way for them to get some normalcy in their lives is if they didn't have any reason to hide at all.
Unbeknownst to them, Greydal has bugged Grace's phone, so they conveniently realized who the beast they have been chasing after was. They followed Grace to the cabin where the couple is hiding in an effort to capture Vincent, but the Greydal agent accidentally killed Grace as he tried to get to Vincent and Cat.
With their initial plan blowing up in smoke, they had no recourse but to use Plan B, which involved Vincent going back to Greydal so he could meet the man who put a bounty on him.
According to Carter Matt, "Beauty and the Beast" season 4 episode 10 titled "Means to an End" will see Vincent undergoing a series of tests in an effort to stall and satisfy the mystery buyer for the meantime. On the other hand, Cat will do her part in clearing her husband's name and would turn to JT (Austin Basis) and Heather (Nicole Gale Anderson) for support.
However, the turning point of the story would probably be that moment when Tess (Nina Lisandrello) arrived in Cat's place with the authorities and told her she's under arrest, as can be seen from the promo clip below.
JT has previously told Tess to stop covering for the husband and wife team. Tess telling Cat that they are no longer on the same side is a bit of a shock, considering how tight they have been all throughout the series.
Could there be more to Cat's arrest than what Tess would have the authorities believe? Could it be part of a larger plan? Fans would know the answer to those questions when "Beauty and the Beast" returns next week.
"Beauty and the Beast" season 4 episode 10 will air on Thursday, Aug. 11, at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
