'Beauty and the Beast' season 4 series finale spoilers: Goodbye, Vincent and Cat?
On Thursday, the final episode of "Beauty and the Beast" will air, and if rumors are to be believed, it looks like the end will not fare well for Vincent and Cat Keller.
The last episode of "Beauty and the Beast" season 4 titled "No Way Out" showed J.T. Forbes (Austin Basis) and Heather Chandler (Nicole Gale Anderson) trying everything they can to find a lawyer for Catherine "Cat" Chandler-Keller (Kristin Kreuk) who's held in prison. Meanwhile, Cat's husband, Vincent Keller (Jay Ryan) is locked in a secret cell somewhere.
Vincent goes through a tough interrogation where he learns that he's being accused of terrorism. He knows better, knows that someone is trying to set him up, but who could it be? During the torturous interrogation, his interrogator tells him that he knows Vincent's motives could be spurred by his anger towards his country that has turned him into a mutant.
Eventually, Cat is let out of prison and with Tess' (Nina Lisandrello) help finds the apartment used to frame Vincent. In the apartment, there were stuff that made it look like Vincent is plotting revenge against the super-soldier program.
Cat, Tess, J.T., and Heather later on realize that the key to figuring out the target is by locating the fourth member of the group of beasts turned along with Vincent. On the other hand, Vincent, who's once again locked up has an epiphany, so he turns into a beast and escapes his cell.
He later winds up to where Cat and the gang are and tells them there is no beast. That it was and still is Braxton. Things get ugly for Heather who tries to go after Braxton herself, and in the final moments of the episode, Vincent and Cat meet, with Vincent telling his wife, "We've got to stop Braxton before he does something major." Cat replies, "It's like we've come full circle. It has to end, Vincent. One way or the other."
The series finale of "Beauty and the Beast" season 4 airing this Thursday is titled "Au Revoir." The official synopsis for the episode reads:
"Vincent and Cat are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to stop an attack and rid the world of beast makers once and for all."
The promotional trailer for the episode looks extremely intense, with the couple caught in a very wild car chase. Are the two embarking on a suicide mission? Seeing as this is the final episode capping the 4-season run of the show, viewers can expect a very dramatic and emotional finale, with Tess figuring in a major shootout. Check out the trailer below:
