Mark your calendars because "Better Call Saul," the "Breaking Bad" spin-off is premiering in February next year. This American drama series is to premiere for two consecutive days on Feb. 8-9, 2015, 10 p.m. ET/PT, on AMC.

The story revolves around the life of lawyer Saul Goodman six years before "Breaking Bad." His real name is Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer trying to figure out his destiny. Bob Odenkirk is to reprise his role as Saul Goodman. Saul's story began in 2002, prior to his meeting Walter White.

Other main characters include Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a private investigator who is also in "Breaking Bad"; Chuck McGill (Michael McKean), Saul's brother; Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn); Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian); Nacho Varga (Michael Mando); Craig Kettleman (Jeremy Shamos); and Betsy Kettleman (Julie Ann Emery).

AMC released a teaser for the series last Friday. Charlie Collier, AMC President, in a statement said, "This February, during AMC's first ever two-night series premiere event, we're going to introduce Jimmy McGill to the world. Known to Breaking Bad fans as Saul Goodman, viewers will soon discover Saul wasn't always Albuquerque's top criminal (criminal) lawyer."

"Huge thanks to Vince Gilligan, Peter Gould, Bob Odenkirk, our partners at Sony, and the entire team. We're thrilled to be cooking together again," he added.

In June, the network announced 10 episodes for the first season of the series. Three months after the announcement, AMC ordered a second season, which will consist of 13 hour-long episodes scheduled in 2016.
