'Better Call Saul' season 3 spoilers news 2016: Premiere details teased
Filming for "Better Call Saul" season 3 is well underway. Fans can bank on a brilliant season premiere especially knowing who is in the director's seat.
The show's co-creator Vince Gilligan will helm the first episode of the new season. This is not something that is unprecedented though.
Gilligan was also the director of the pilot episode of "Better Call Saul" as well as the season 2 finale. Both of course did well and so his work on the season 3 premiere is expected to be top quality as well.
The cast and crew have returned to Albuquerque, New Mexico late last month to begin the production of "Better Call Saul" season 3.
Patrick Fabian, who plays the role of Howard Hamlin in the "Breaking Bad" spinoff, shared a photo on Twitter featuring the cast of the show.
"Better Call Saul" season 3 will be a big season for the spinoff as it will draw Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) closer to being his cunning persona—Saul Goodman.
It will also feature greater presence of "Breaking Bad" favorite Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito). It is unclear if he will show his face this season knowing how the restaurateur slash drug kingpin operates.
As Jimmy goes over the edge in "Better Call Saul" season 3, other characters will be affected too including his girlfriend Kim (Rhea Seehorn).
"I understand the comfort it gives all of us, and I think the audience feels this when you think about things in black-and-white terms. Like, 'If I just keep my head down and work hard enough things will be okay,'" Seehorn told Vulture about her character's moral compass.
"And that's not true, and it's unsettling when that's not true. And it's not true for Kim and Jimmy, she needs Jimmy as much as Jimmy needs her, I think,' she continued.
"Better Call Saul" season 3 will premiere early next year on AMC.
