Black Friday 2016 news, update: Huge price slash on Surface Pro 4, Surface Book reported
Good news awaits the Microsoft Surface followers, as several retailers are expected to offer highly satisfying price discounts on the current Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book devices this coming Black Friday 2016 weekend. The highly anticipated time of the year will arrive in a few days, but as early as now, more details regarding the expected price cuts have surfaced on the internet.
As reported by Science World Report, notable price discounts will be offered for those who would like to have their own Surface Pro 4 or Surface Book gadget. The Black Friday event, which will run from Nov. 24 to 28, is rumored to feature a price cut as huge as $400 on the Surface devices. Specifically, the $429 price discount is expected to be given this Black Friday on the Surface Pro 4.
Microsoft's special Black Friday page featured the expected Surface Book discounts. The special Microsoft laptop will be available for as low as $1,499, roughly $400 lower than the original retail price. Even though the Surface Book has been in the market for some time now, its specs are still considered to be powerful by today's standards, running in 2.4GHz Intel Core i5-6300U processor which is paired with Intel HD Graphics 520 GPU.
As seen on Microsoft's own Black Friday page, the Surface Book will be available for just US$1,499, which is a US$400 discount. Granted, the item is not the newest or most powerful in its line, but it is still a great piece of technology.
Moreover, the Surface Book boasts 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage capacity. The device also has two USB 3.0 for faster data transfer, as well as a mini DisplayPort, an SD card reader, and a mini headphone/mic combo jack, iTech Post reported.
On the other hand, the Surface Pro 4 will be sold during the Black Friday weekend this year for as low as $799. This is something that the buyers should consider as purchasing the Surface Pro 4 on Black Friday will save up to $999. Some people may see this huge price discount on the Surface Pro 4 as a part of the anticipated release of the Surface Pro 5. However, Microsoft has yet to announce the arrival of the new Surface Pro model in the coming months.
The Surface Pro 4 is the current iteration of Microsoft's hybrid Surface laptop. It is thinner and lighter compared to the Surface Book, powered by the sixth generation Intel Core processor, ranging from m3, i5, or i7 chipset. The available storage options for the Surface Pro 4 include 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB.
