'Blindspot' season 2 spoilers: FBI to work with the CIA to stop a deadly attack in New York
A deadly attack is looming in the next episode of "Blindspot" season 2.
In the trailer for the upcoming episode titled "Droll Autumn, Unmutual Lord," a possible massive and fatal explosion is threatening New York. But the team from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) can reportedly stop the attack from happening with the help of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
The trailer also showed Jane (Jaimie Alexander) examining herself in front of the mirror to see the remaining tattoos on her body.
Viewers of the show will remember that Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and Patterson (Ashley Johnson) discovered that Jane has a giant leopard tattoo located at the side of her neck in episode 10. But the tattoo is no longer visible in her body, which makes the team more curious about the meaning of the missing tattoo.
For the upcoming episode, Nas Kamal (Archie Panjabi) will suggest to Patterson that they will have to decrypt the meaning of Jane's tattoo so they can gather vital information about the Sandstorm.
The Futon Critic revealed the synopsis for the next episode of "Blindspot" season 2, which reads: "After one of the world's most-wanted terrorists surfaces in New York for unknown reasons, the team must partner with the CIA to stop a deadly bombing."
Q Telegram also revealed that the upcoming episode will highlight the plight of Roman (Luke Mitchell). According to a statement from showrunner Martin Gero, "Roman will be like Jane in the beginning of the series, that is to say, he will have no memory. It will have fragments of memories, which will terrify him."
Since Jane managed to get a grasp about her past, fans are expected to see Roman replicate it. However, Gero warned that Roman's road to discovery will not be as easy as it seems.
NBC will air the next episode of "Blindspot" season 2 on Wednesday, Jan. 11.
