Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 21 year-old daughter of singer Whitney Houston, has remained unresponsive to treatment at a hospital after she was found unconscious at her home in Roswell, Georgia on Saturday.

The doctors were able to stabilize Bobbi Kristina's breathing, but the latest reports indicated that she was still on a ventilator and had not regained consciousness. Unconfirmed reports said her outlook was bleak and her brain function was minimal. Doctors said a recovery is technically possible, but if it happens, it will be a miracle, a family source said.

Bobbi Kristina is Houston's only child with Bobby Brown. She had a strained relationship with her father and they rarely spoke.

The Houstons and the Browns have come together for Bobbi Kristina. "Everyone is holding hands, praying, hoping for the best. Everyone knows where things are at," the source said.

Bobbi Kristina's husband Nick Gordon found her face down in the tub and started CPR. Gordon was later assisted by police officers who were called to the scene. An ambulance arrived and performed life saving measures until she was transported to North Fulton hospital.

It's believed she was without oxygen for an undetermined amount of time.

Following the discovery of Bobbi Kristina in the tub, local police searched her house after obtaining a search warrant and reportedly no drugs or alcohol was found.

When news first broke that Bobbi Kristina was found in a tub, it evoked memories of the death of her mother Whitney Houston who died in a tub at the Beverly Hilton hotel on Feb. 11, 2012. After being found unresponsive in the tub, Houston was declared dead and a subsequent autopsy found that she had cocaine, marijuana and other medications such as Xanax and Benadryl in her system. Houston's death was subsequently ruled as an accidental drowning.

Bobbi Kristina appeared to be active on her social media accounts. As recently as Friday she posted a photo with a male friend. On Twitter she also stated recently that she missed her mother.

Brown was at the bedside of his daughter in hospital and released a statement asking for "privacy to allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time."
